Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing oil filter may initially manifest as a slight decrease in engine oil pressure or a noticeable reduction in engine power. If the filter becomes severely clogged, oil bypass may engage, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerate internal engine wear. Continued operation with a compromised filter risks significant damage to engine bearings and other critical components.

Installation Tip

Ensure the engine block's filter mounting surface is clean and free of any old gasket material before installing the new filter. Avoid overtightening the filter, as this can damage the seal or the filter housing.

Service Note

When replacing the engine oil filter, it is good practice to check the engine oil for any signs of coolant or fuel dilution.
