Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A clogged fuel filter may initially cause a slight hesitation during acceleration or a noticeable drop in engine power under load. If the restriction worsens, the engine may begin to stall intermittently, especially at higher RPMs. Continued operation with a severely restricted filter can starve the fuel system, leading to potential damage to the lift pump and injectors.

Installation Tip

Always bleed the fuel system after replacing the filter to remove any air that may have entered. Ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and the new filter is properly seated to prevent fuel leaks.

Service Note

When replacing the fuel lift pump filter, inspect the fuel lines for any signs of cracking or leaks and check the fuel tank for water or sediment.
