This oil pressure sensor monitors the engine's lubricating oil pressure, sending vital data to the control module or gauge. It is engineered with robust materials to withstand engine heat and vibration, ensuring accurate readings unlike a faulty sensor that might provide erratic or no data. Operators may observe a fluctuating or absent oil pressure warning light, or inaccurate gauge readings if this sensor malfunctions.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
A failing oil pressure sensor might initially cause the oil pressure warning light to flicker intermittently or the gauge to show erratic readings. If the sensor fails completely, the warning light may stay on or off constantly, and the gauge will read zero or maximum, potentially masking a real lubrication problem.
Ensure the engine oil is cool before attempting removal to avoid burns and to prevent oil spillage. Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the sensor threads, but avoid getting any sealant inside the sensor port.
Check the engine oil level and condition, and inspect the oil filter for signs of blockage or contamination.
