Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing AdBlue injector is often a reduction in fuel economy or an illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). If left unaddressed, the SCR system may become less effective, potentially leading to increased emissions and eventual derating of engine power to comply with regulatory limits.

Installation Tip

Ensure the injector nozzle and surrounding area are clean before removal to prevent debris from entering the exhaust manifold. Do not overtighten the injector during installation, as this can damage the threads or the injector body.
