Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing hydraulic filter may initially present as slightly slower hydraulic response or increased fluid temperature. If left unaddressed, the filter can become fully blocked, leading to fluid bypass and potential damage to the hydraulic pump and cylinders. Continued operation risks premature component failure and system downtime.

Installation Tip

Before installing, ensure the filter housing threads and sealing surface are clean and free of old gasket material. Avoid using excessive force when tightening the filter, as this can damage the seal or housing.

Service Note

When replacing the hydraulic filter, it is advisable to inspect the hydraulic fluid condition and check for any signs of wear in the hydraulic pump or cylinders.
