Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing filter may initially cause a slight decrease in system responsiveness or a warning light on the dashboard. If ignored, contamination levels will rise, leading to increased wear on pumps and valves. Eventually, critical components can be starved of clean fluid, causing premature failure.

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter housing seal surface is clean and free of debris before installing the new filter. Overtightening the filter can damage the seal or housing, leading to leaks.

Service Note

Always inspect the fluid being filtered for signs of contamination or degradation when replacing the filter.
