Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Failure Symptoms

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter housing's sealing surface is clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new element. Hand-tighten the element firmly, then give it an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn as specified by the manufacturer.
