This component functions as an oil filter, meticulously removing contaminants such as dirt, metal particles, and sludge from the engine oil to maintain lubrication effectiveness. It is engineered to meet stringent filtration standards, ensuring superior oil cleanliness and engine protection compared to a worn filter that would allow harmful particles to circulate. Operators may notice increased engine noise, oil pressure warnings, or a decrease in engine performance when this oil filter fails.

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
A clogged oil filter will initially lead to a slight increase in oil pressure warnings or a dimming oil pressure light. If ignored, the filter's bypass valve may open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate, causing accelerated engine wear and potential internal damage. The most serious consequence is the risk of catastrophic engine failure due to lack of proper lubrication.
Always ensure the engine block's filter mounting surface is clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new filter. Lightly lubricate the rubber gasket on the new filter with clean engine oil before screwing it on hand-tight plus an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn.
When replacing the oil filter, it is highly recommended to also change the engine oil and inspect the oil pan and oil pump for any signs of debris or damage.
