Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing water pump is often a coolant leak from the weep hole or a whining noise from the bearing. If ignored, the pump's ability to circulate coolant will diminish, leading to rapid engine overheating. The consequence of continued operation is severe engine damage due to excessive heat.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the engine block mounting surface and inspect the old gasket for signs of failure. Ensure the new pump's gasket is properly seated and that the impeller does not contact the block.

Service Note

Inspect the radiator, hoses, thermostat, and coolant condition when replacing the water pump.
