Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A clogged fuel filter initially manifests as a gradual reduction in engine power or hesitation under load. As the blockage worsens, the engine may begin to run rough, misfire, or fail to start altogether due to insufficient fuel delivery. Persistent operation with a restricted filter can lead to fuel pump damage.

Installation Tip

Ensure the area around the fuel filter housing is clean before removal to prevent debris from entering the fuel system. Do not reuse the old sealing gasket when installing the new filter.

Service Note

Inspect the fuel lines for leaks and check the fuel water separator (if equipped) for any accumulated water during filter replacement.
