235-5901 Fuel Injector — Cat 3044C 3046

This fuel injector is responsible for precisely atomizing and delivering fuel into the engine's combustion chamber at the correct time. Manufactured to strict tolerances, it ensures optimal fuel burn and engine efficiency, outperforming worn injectors that deliver inconsistent spray patterns. Operators may experience rough idling, reduced engine power, increased exhaust emissions, or difficulty starting the engine when this injector is faulty.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing fuel injector may initially cause a slight misfire or a rougher idle. If ignored, fuel delivery will become increasingly inconsistent, leading to noticeable power loss and excessive black smoke from the exhaust. Continued operation with faulty injectors can damage pistons and cylinder walls due to improper combustion.

Installation Tip

Always use new sealing washers and ensure the injector bore is clean before installation to prevent fuel leaks. Avoid rotating the injector during installation, as this can damage the O-rings.

Service Note

When replacing a fuel injector, inspect the fuel lines and filter for any signs of contamination or blockage.
