124-9530 Fuel Injector — Cat 3508 3512

This is a fuel injector responsible for precisely delivering fuel into the engine's combustion chambers. It atomizes fuel under high pressure to ensure efficient and complete combustion, contributing to optimal engine performance and fuel economy. Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first noticeable symptom of a faulty fuel injector is often rough engine idling or noticeable misfires. If left unaddressed, the injector may begin to leak fuel, leading to increased fuel consumption, excessive smoke, and potential engine overheating. Continued operation with a malfunctioning injector can cause damage to pistons and cylinder walls.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the injector bore and ensure all sealing surfaces are free of debris before installing the new injector to prevent leaks. Avoid overtightening the injector hold-down clamp, as this can damage the injector body or the cylinder head.

Service Note

Inspect the fuel lines, fuel filter, and engine oil for any signs of contamination or degradation when replacing fuel injectors.
