Installation & Application Notes

Never strike bearings directly — use a bearing press or driver set. Heat housing (not bearing) to ease installation. Replace bearings in sets where applicable. Check housing bore diameter before fitting — out-of-round bores destroy new bearings.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial failure symptoms may include a knocking sound from the engine and a drop in oil pressure. As the damage progresses, the knocking will become more severe, and oil pressure may drop further, potentially leading to lubrication failure. Continued operation risks catastrophic engine damage and complete seizure.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the crankshaft journals and bearing bores to prevent any contamination from entering the engine. Ensure the correct bearing crush is achieved during installation to maintain proper oil clearance.

Service Note

Inspect the crankshaft journals for wear, scoring, and out-of-roundness, and check the connecting rod or main bearing caps for damage.
