Failure Symptoms

The first sign of clutch failure is often a feeling of the clutch pedal being too soft or too hard, or experiencing slippage where engine RPMs increase without corresponding speed gain. If left unaddressed, shifting gears will become increasingly difficult, potentially leading to an inability to drive the vehicle.

Installation Tip

Ensure the flywheel surface is clean and free of oil or grease before installing the new clutch disc. Avoid resting the transmission on the clutch disc during installation, as this can damage the disc splines.

Service Note

Always replace the clutch release bearing and inspect the pilot bearing when installing a new clutch kit.
