Failure Symptoms

The most noticeable symptom is often an abnormal fan speed – either running at maximum speed constantly, creating excessive noise, or failing to increase speed when the engine temperature rises. Inadequate cooling can lead to the engine or hydraulic system overheating warnings. If the valve fails to regulate pressure correctly, it can also cause premature wear on the fan motor or hydraulic pump.

Installation Tip

Ensure the hydraulic system is depressurized before removing the old valve to prevent injury from high-pressure fluid. Clean the valve mounting port thoroughly before installing the new valve.
