Failure Symptoms

A dirty air filter can initially cause a subtle reduction in engine power and slightly increased fuel consumption. Continued operation with a severely restricted filter can lead to premature engine wear and reduced operational efficiency.

Installation Tip

Ensure the air cleaner housing is completely clean inside before installing the new filter to prevent any existing dirt from being drawn into the engine. Make sure the filter is seated correctly and the housing cover is securely fastened.

Service Note

Inspect the turbocharger intake piping for any signs of leaks or damage, and check the crankcase ventilation system.
