Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Failure Symptoms

Installation Tip

Before installing the new filter, clean the inside of the air filter housing to remove any accumulated dust or debris. Ensure the new filter is properly seated and the cover is securely fastened to create a tight seal.

Inspect the turbocharger and intake manifold for carbon buildup or oil contamination when replacing the engine air filter.
