Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Failure Symptoms

A primary symptom of a clogged cabin air filter is a significant reduction in airflow from the air conditioning or heating vents. You may also notice a musty or unpleasant odor circulating within the cabin. If left unaddressed, the AC system may struggle to maintain the desired temperature, and mold or mildew could develop.

Installation Tip

Note the direction of airflow indicated on the old filter before removal to ensure correct installation of the new one. Avoid forcing the filter into place, as this can damage the filter media or the housing.
