Failure Symptoms

Before removing the old filter, relieve any residual fuel pressure according to the service manual. Ensure the new filter is correctly oriented for fuel flow and that all connections are tight to prevent air ingress.

Service Note

It is advisable to replace the fuel filter along with the fuel water separator if your machine is equipped with one.
