This part is an engine oil filter, designed to remove impurities and contaminants from the lubricating oil circulating within the engine. It utilizes a high-density filter media to trap wear particles, soot, and sludge, ensuring clean oil reaches critical engine components for reduced friction and wear. Operators may notice an increase in engine noise, a drop in oil pressure, or the oil pressure warning light illuminating if the filter becomes excessively clogged.

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
The first indication of a clogged oil filter is often a slight increase in engine operating temperature or a dimming of the oil pressure warning light. If ignored, the filter's bypass valve may open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate, leading to accelerated internal engine wear. Eventually, this can result in significant damage to bearings and other moving parts.
Lubricate the rubber gasket on the new oil filter with clean engine oil before installation to ensure a proper seal. Do not overtighten the filter; hand-tighten plus a quarter turn is usually sufficient.
Check the engine oil level and condition, and inspect the oil pan and drain plug for leaks when replacing the oil filter.
