This separator filter bowl is designed to remove water and large contaminants from the fuel before it reaches the primary fuel filter, protecting the engine's fuel system. It is manufactured to meet stringent OEM quality standards, offering effective separation compared to a bowl that is cracked or has a compromised seal. Operators might experience engine sputtering, rough running, or difficulty starting if water is not being properly separated from the fuel.

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
The first sign of a failing separator filter bowl is the presence of water or significant sediment in the drained fuel, or a warning light indicating fuel system issues. If the separation is ineffective, water can enter the primary fuel filter, leading to engine sputtering and rough running. In severe cases, untreated water can cause corrosion and damage to fuel injectors and the injection pump.
Ensure the sealing surfaces on both the filter head and the bowl are clean and free of debris before assembly. Do not overtighten the bowl, as this can crack the plastic or damage the O-ring seal.
Regularly drain any accumulated water from the separator bowl and inspect the primary fuel filter for signs of premature clogging.
