This Shaft Front Oil Seal is designed to prevent lubricant from escaping the engine crankshaft seal area while also keeping contaminants out of the engine. It is manufactured from durable, oil-resistant materials to withstand high temperatures and rotational speeds. A worn or damaged seal will manifest as visible oil leaks around the crankshaft pulley, potentially leading to low oil levels and lubrication issues.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
The most immediate symptom of a failing front crankshaft oil seal is the appearance of oil leaks at the front of the engine, near the crankshaft pulley. If ignored, these leaks can lead to a significant loss of engine oil, increasing the risk of internal engine damage due to insufficient lubrication. Continued leakage can also contaminate the drive belts, leading to premature belt failure.
Carefully inspect the crankshaft snout for any burrs or damage that could nick the new seal lip during installation. Use a proper seal driver or a suitable tool to press the seal in squarely and to the correct depth.
Inspect the crankshaft pulley for damage and the crankshaft snout for wear or scoring.
