Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A significant decrease in engine power and acceleration is often the first sign of a failing turbocharger. If ignored, the turbo may begin to consume oil, leading to blue smoke from the exhaust and increased oil levels in the intercooler. Continued operation with a damaged turbo can lead to severe engine damage due to oil starvation or foreign object ingestion.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the oil supply and return lines before connecting the new turbocharger to prevent contamination. Avoid overtightening the exhaust manifold bolts, as this can warp the manifold and cause leaks.

Service Note

Always inspect and clean the intercooler and charge air hoses for oil contamination or debris when replacing a turbocharger.
