This fuel water separator is designed to remove water and particulate contaminants from the diesel fuel before it reaches the engine's injection system, protecting sensitive components from corrosion and wear. Manufactured with high-quality filtration media, it offers superior separation efficiency compared to a clogged or damaged filter, which can allow water into the fuel system. Operators may notice engine sputtering, loss of power, or the illumination of a 'check engine' or 'water in fuel' warning light when the separator is saturated or failing.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
An overloaded fuel water separator will first cause intermittent engine sputtering or a slight loss of power. If ignored, water can bypass the filter, leading to corrosion and damage within the fuel injection system. The ultimate consequence is potential engine stalling and costly repairs to fuel system components.
Ensure the sealing surfaces on both the separator and the filter head are clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new filter. Hand-tighten the new filter until the gasket contacts the head, then tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn, or as specified.
Inspect the fuel tank for sediment and check the fuel lines for any signs of leaks when replacing the fuel water separator.
