Failure Symptoms

Increased vibration felt throughout the cabin or chassis, along with noticeable buzzing or rattling noises originating from the fan area, indicate a worn fan rubber. If left unaddressed, excessive vibration can lead to fatigue failure of the fan shroud, mounting brackets, or even the fan blades themselves. This can compromise the cooling system's integrity.

Installation Tip

Ensure the fan mounting surfaces on both the fan and the engine bracket are clean and free of corrosion before installation. Do not overtighten the bolts that secure the fan assembly, as this can crush the rubber.
