Ignoring this can lead to premature failure of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and valves due to insufficient lubrication and increased wear.

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter mounting surface is clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new filter. Hand-tighten the filter until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn.
