This water level sensor detects the coolant level within the excavator's cooling system and signals the operator or control module when the level is low. Manufactured to meet OEM standards, it provides accurate level detection unlike a corroded or failed sensor that may give false readings or fail to signal. Symptoms of a faulty sensor include a continuously illuminated low coolant warning light, or the system failing to alert the operator to a critically low coolant level.

Disconnect main battery before working on electrical components. Use dielectric grease on all connector pins. Check ground connections — most electrical faults trace to poor grounds. Test with multimeter before installing new parts.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
A failing water level sensor may cause the low coolant warning light to stay on constantly, even when the coolant level is adequate. Alternatively, it might fail to illuminate the warning light when the coolant level is critically low. Ignoring a faulty sensor can lead to the engine operating without sufficient coolant, risking severe overheating and internal damage.
Ensure the cooling system is completely cool before attempting to remove the old sensor to avoid burns. Do not force the new sensor into place; it should thread in smoothly.
Check the coolant level and condition, and inspect the radiator and hoses for any signs of leaks or damage during sensor replacement.
