FPFL2405004 — Level Sensor 11196338 For Volvo Articulated Hauler Da25D Da30D A35D A40D

This level sensor is designed to monitor the fluid level in various tanks, such as fuel or hydraulic reservoirs, ensuring optimal system operation. It provides accurate readings to the operator or control system, preventing operation with insufficient fluid. A failing sensor can lead to the operator being unaware of critically low fluid levels, potentially causing damage to pumps or other components.

Installation & Application Notes

Disconnect main battery before working on electrical components. Use dielectric grease on all connector pins. Check ground connections — most electrical faults trace to poor grounds. Test with multimeter before installing new parts.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing level sensor may provide inaccurate readings, showing the fluid level as full when it is low, or vice versa. If the sensor fails completely, it may not provide any reading at all, leaving the operator unaware of a critical fluid shortage. Operating equipment with insufficient fluid can lead to premature wear or catastrophic failure of pumps and other vital components.

Installation Tip

Ensure the tank is empty or at a very low level before attempting removal to minimize fluid spillage. Do not use sealant on the sensor threads unless specifically instructed by the service manual.

Service Note

Inspect the associated fluid lines and tank for any signs of leaks or contamination when replacing the level sensor.
