625-5714 Repair Kit — Cat 320D

This is a comprehensive repair kit containing all necessary seals and O-rings for a specific CAT hydraulic component. It is engineered to restore the sealing integrity of the component, preventing leaks and maintaining proper system pressure. Failure to replace worn seals can result in external fluid leaks, internal leakage, and reduced system efficiency, potentially leading to component failure.

Installation & Application Notes

Always match seal material to fluid type — NBR for petroleum, FKM (Viton) for high-temperature/chemical applications. Lubricate seals with clean fluid before fitting — never grease. Check shaft surface for scoring — rough surfaces destroy new seals within hours.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of seal failure is often visible hydraulic fluid leakage around the component. If left unaddressed, internal leakage will increase, causing slower and less precise operation of the affected hydraulic function. Continued operation with worn seals can lead to overheating and accelerated wear on mating metal surfaces within the component.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean all grooves and mating surfaces before installing new seals to ensure a proper seal and prevent damage. Avoid using sharp tools that could nick or cut the new seals during installation.

Service Note

Inspect the cylinder bore or valve housing for scoring or wear when replacing seals with this kit.
