Failure Symptoms

An early indicator of a clogged hydraulic filter is a slight increase in system operating temperature or a faint whining noise from the hydraulic pump. If ignored, the filter's bypass valve will open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate, leading to accelerated wear on all hydraulic components. This can ultimately result in premature failure of the hydraulic pump and other critical parts.

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter housing is clean and the O-ring seal is properly lubricated before installing the new filter. Do not overtighten the filter, as this can damage the seal or housing.
