1185931 Bucket Cylinder Gp- Seal — Cat 320 320N

This is a bucket cylinder seal group, designed to maintain hydraulic pressure and prevent contamination within the bucket cylinder assembly. Manufactured to meet rigorous OEM standards, it offers superior sealing performance and longevity over worn or damaged seals. Operators may observe hydraulic fluid leaks around the cylinder rod, slow or jerky bucket movements, or a loss of lifting/dumping force when this seal group fails.

Failure Symptoms

The first indication of a failing seal group is often visible hydraulic fluid leakage from the cylinder rod seal. If ignored, the leakage will worsen, leading to a gradual loss of hydraulic pressure and slower, less responsive bucket control. Continued operation risks significant hydraulic fluid loss and potential damage to the cylinder bore and rod.

Installation Tip

Carefully clean the cylinder bore and rod before installing the new seals to prevent damage from any residual debris. Ensure the seals are properly oriented and seated to prevent immediate leakage.

Service Note

Inspect the cylinder rod for any scoring or damage, and clean the hydraulic system thoroughly.
