Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Failure Symptoms

A dirty or damaged air filter will first present as a reduction in engine power and responsiveness. Continued operation can lead to premature wear of engine components.

Installation Tip

Before installing, thoroughly clean the inside of the air filter housing to remove any accumulated dirt or debris. Ensure the new filter's seals seat properly to prevent air bypass.
