Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial symptoms of a failing fuel transfer pump include intermittent engine hesitation or stumbling, particularly under load. If the problem progresses, the engine may become difficult to start or stall unexpectedly. The most severe consequence is complete loss of fuel supply to the engine, resulting in immediate shutdown and inability to operate.

Installation Tip

Ensure all fuel lines are properly aligned and free of kinks before connecting them to the new pump to prevent fuel leaks. Do not reuse old fuel filter seals when installing the new pump.

Service Note

Always replace the fuel filter(s) when servicing or replacing the fuel transfer pump.
