Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Failure Symptoms

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter housing is completely clean before installing the new element to prevent any bypass of contaminants. Do not overtighten the housing cover, as this can deform the seal.
