2065235 Air Cleaner Gp — Cat 950F 950F II

This is a heavy-duty air cleaner assembly designed to remove particulate matter from intake air before it enters the engine. It ensures the engine receives clean air for optimal combustion and longevity, preventing premature wear on internal components. A clogged or damaged air cleaner will result in reduced engine power, increased fuel consumption, and potentially black smoke from the exhaust.

Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing air cleaner will first manifest as a noticeable decrease in engine power and responsiveness. If ignored, the engine will begin to consume more fuel and may produce excessive black smoke. Continued operation with a severely restricted air supply can lead to accelerated internal engine wear.

Installation Tip

Ensure the sealing surfaces on the machine and the new air cleaner are completely clean before installation to prevent air leaks. Do not overtighten the mounting hardware, as this can distort the housing or damage the seals.

Service Note

Inspect the intake manifold and turbocharger for any signs of oil or soot buildup when replacing the air cleaner.
