Installation & Application Notes

Never run an engine without a filter — even briefly causes abrasive damage. Pre-fill fuel filters with clean fuel before fitting to reduce prime time. Replace O-rings on filter housings every second service. Record change dates on filter housing.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial signs of a failing oil filter may include a slight increase in engine operating temperature or a dimming of the oil pressure gauge. If ignored, the engine may begin to consume oil at a higher rate, and internal component wear will accelerate. Continued operation with a severely restricted filter can lead to insufficient lubrication and significant engine damage.

Installation Tip

Ensure the filter housing mating surface is clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new filter. Overtightening the filter can damage the seal or housing, leading to leaks.

Service Note

Inspect the engine oil and oil pan for signs of metal debris, which could indicate internal wear.
