Installation & Application Notes

Allow turbo to idle 2–3 minutes before shutdown — this circulates oil through bearings and prevents coking. Check oil feed and drain lines for blockages before fitting new turbo. Replace oil and filter when fitting new turbo — old oil contains metal particles.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing turbocharger often first presents as a noticeable lack of engine power, especially under load, and potentially a high-pitched whining sound. If ignored, the turbocharger may begin to consume oil, leading to blue exhaust smoke, and eventually, the turbine or compressor wheel could fail, causing severe engine damage.

Installation Tip

Always prime the new turbocharger with clean engine oil before installation to ensure lubrication upon initial startup. Ensure all oil and exhaust connections are clean and free of debris to prevent leaks.

Service Note

When installing a new turbocharger, it is crucial to clean the intercooler system and inspect all intake and exhaust piping for restrictions or damage.
