Installation & Application Notes

Allow turbo to idle 2–3 minutes before shutdown — this circulates oil through bearings and prevents coking. Check oil feed and drain lines for blockages before fitting new turbo. Replace oil and filter when fitting new turbo — old oil contains metal particles.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A significant decrease in engine power, especially under load, is a primary symptom of a failing turbocharger component. You might also observe excessive black smoke from the exhaust and hear a distinct whining or whistling sound from the turbocharger. Continued operation with a faulty turbocharger can lead to increased oil consumption and potential damage to other engine parts.

Installation Tip

Before connecting the oil supply line, ensure it is clean and filled with fresh engine oil to prevent dry-start damage to the bearings. Avoid overtightening the mounting hardware, which can distort the turbocharger housing.

Service Note

Inspect the engine oil and filter, as well as the air intake and exhaust system, for any signs of blockage or leaks when replacing this turbocharger component.
