Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first indication of a failing torque converter is often a feeling of slippage, especially when accelerating or climbing inclines. This can progress to delayed engagement of drive gears and a significant reduction in overall power output. Continued operation with a faulty torque converter can lead to overheating and damage to the transmission.

Installation Tip

Ensure the torque converter is properly seated on the transmission input shaft before bolting it to the flywheel. Failure to do so can result in damage to the converter or transmission.

Service Note

Inspect the transmission pump, transmission filter, and transmission fluid for debris or signs of wear when replacing the torque converter.
