Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing seal kit is typically visible hydraulic fluid leakage from the cylinder rod seal. If ignored, the cylinder may lose pressure, resulting in slow or erratic bucket operation and reduced lifting capacity. Continued operation with leaking seals can lead to contamination of the hydraulic system and potential damage to the cylinder barrel.

Installation Tip

Carefully inspect the cylinder bore and piston rod for any scoring or damage before installing the new seals, as imperfections will quickly damage new seals. Ensure all old seal material is completely removed from the grooves.

Service Note

Inspect the hydraulic fluid level and condition, and check the hydraulic pump and hoses for leaks when replacing the bucket cylinder seal kit.
