433-1673 Radiator — Cat 329D 325D

This radiator is designed for Caterpillar C7 engines and various excavator models, serving as the core component of the engine's cooling system. It efficiently dissipates heat generated during operation, preventing engine overheating and maintaining optimal operating temperatures. A malfunctioning radiator can lead to rapid temperature increases, loss of power, and potential engine damage.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial signs of a failing radiator include the engine temperature gauge rising above normal, especially under load, or visible coolant leaks. If ignored, this can lead to severe overheating, causing reduced engine performance and potential internal engine damage. Continued operation without adequate cooling risks catastrophic engine failure.

Installation Tip

Ensure the cooling system is completely drained before removing the old radiator to prevent coolant spillage. When installing the new radiator, make sure all mounting points are secure and that the fan shroud is properly aligned.

Service Note

Inspect and flush the cooling system, check the water pump, and replace thermostat and hoses when installing a new radiator.
