396-9626 6 Pcs Fuel Injector — Cat 330D

This is a set of six high-performance fuel injectors, essential for precisely delivering fuel into the engine's combustion chambers for optimal power and efficiency. Manufactured to meet stringent Caterpillar standards, these injectors provide consistent spray patterns and flow rates superior to worn or clogged units. Operators may experience rough engine running, reduced power, increased fuel consumption, or black smoke from the exhaust when these injectors are malfunctioning.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of failing fuel injectors is often a noticeable decrease in engine performance and an increase in fuel consumption. If ignored, the engine may start to run rough, misfire, or produce excessive black smoke as combustion becomes inefficient. Continued operation with faulty injectors can lead to increased engine temperatures and potential damage to pistons and cylinder walls due to incomplete combustion.

Installation Tip

Ensure the injector bores in the cylinder head are meticulously clean before installing the new injectors to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten the injector hold-down clamps, as this can distort the injector body.

Service Note

When replacing fuel injectors, it is advisable to inspect the fuel lines for leaks and clean or replace the fuel filter.
