374-4994 A C Condenser — Cat C11 C13

This A/C condenser is a vital part of the vehicle's air conditioning system, responsible for dissipating heat from the refrigerant. It is built to withstand the demanding operating conditions found in heavy equipment, offering superior durability over a damaged or corroded condenser that struggles to cool the cabin. Operators may experience a lack of cool air, warm air blowing from the vents, or a noticeable decrease in overall AC performance when this component is failing.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first indication of a failing condenser is a reduced cooling capacity, with the air from the vents feeling lukewarm even on a cool setting. If ignored, the AC system will struggle to maintain any significant temperature drop, leading to operator discomfort. In severe cases, the system may overheat and shut down, rendering the air conditioning inoperable during hot conditions.

Installation Tip

Ensure the condenser fins are clean and free from obstructions before mounting to allow for optimal airflow. Avoid over-tightening the mounting bolts, which can distort the condenser core.

Service Note

Flush the AC system and replace the receiver drier when installing a new condenser to remove any contaminants.
