355-6110 Fuel Injector — Cat D8T

This fuel injector is a precision-engineered component responsible for delivering a finely atomized spray of fuel into the engine's combustion chamber at the correct time. It meets rigorous OEM quality standards, offering superior atomization and flow consistency compared to a worn injector that may leak or spray unevenly. Operators may notice rough idling, reduced engine power, increased exhaust smoke, or difficulty starting the engine when a fuel injector begins to fail.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial signs of a failing fuel injector include a rough or uneven engine idle and a noticeable increase in black exhaust smoke. If left unaddressed, fuel consumption will rise, and engine power will continue to diminish. Continued operation with faulty injectors can lead to incomplete combustion, potentially damaging the engine's internal components.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the injector bore in the cylinder head before installing the new injector. Avoid reusing old copper sealing washers, as they are designed for single use and can cause leaks.

Service Note

When replacing fuel injectors, it is advisable to inspect the fuel filter and lines for any signs of contamination.
