Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The most common symptom is a clicking noise when the ignition key is turned, with no engine rotation. The engine may also crank very slowly or not at all. If left unaddressed, the equipment will be unable to start.

Installation Tip

Always disconnect the battery before removing or installing the starter motor to prevent electrical shorts. Ensure the starter pinion gear meshes correctly with the flywheel ring gear without forcing.

Service Note

Inspect the flywheel ring gear for worn or damaged teeth when replacing the starter motor.
