This is a 24-volt, 70-watt H3 halogen bulb designed to provide illumination for critical engine components or operator visibility in various CAT equipment. Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The most immediate symptom of a failing bulb is a complete loss of illumination in the affected area. If the bulb is nearing the end of its life, it may flicker intermittently before burning out completely. Continued operation without adequate lighting in critical areas can lead to missed visual inspections or difficulty performing maintenance tasks.

Installation Tip

Always allow the old bulb to cool completely before attempting removal to avoid burns. When installing the new bulb, handle it by its base and avoid touching the glass to prevent contamination that can lead to premature failure.

Service Note

While replacing the bulb, inspect the wiring and socket for any signs of corrosion or damage that could affect electrical continuity.
