328-2576 Fuel Injector — Cat 330D

This fuel injector precisely meters and atomizes diesel fuel into the combustion chamber, critical for efficient engine operation and emissions control. Manufactured to meet exacting OEM specifications, it provides consistent spray patterns and flow rates superior to worn injectors that may cause poor atomization or dribbling. Operators might experience rough idling, reduced engine power, increased fuel consumption, or visible smoke from the exhaust when this injector begins to fail.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The earliest symptom of a failing fuel injector is often a slight reduction in engine smoothness or a subtle increase in exhaust smoke. If the issue progresses, the engine may begin to misfire, experience significant power loss, and consume more fuel. Continued operation with faulty injectors can lead to increased internal engine wear and potential damage to other components.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the injector bore in the cylinder head before installing the new injector to ensure a proper seal. Avoid applying excessive force when seating the injector, as this can damage the tip or the bore.

Service Note

When replacing fuel injectors, it is highly recommended to also inspect and potentially replace the fuel filter and fuel lines.
