326-3892 High Temperature After Cooler Hose — Cat

This is a High Temperature After Cooler Hose, designed to connect the aftercooler to the engine intake manifold, facilitating the flow of cooled, compressed air. Manufactured to meet stringent OEM quality standards, it offers superior resistance to heat and pressure compared to a worn or cracked hose. Operators may notice a loss of engine power, increased exhaust temperatures, or visible steam or coolant leaks from the engine bay when this hose fails.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing after cooler hose may initially present as a hissing sound from the engine bay under load, indicating a boost leak. If ignored, the leak can worsen, leading to a significant loss of engine power and increased exhaust smoke as the engine struggles to achieve proper boost pressure. A complete hose rupture can cause rapid loss of power and potentially lead to overheating.

Installation Tip

Ensure the connection surfaces on the aftercooler and intake manifold are clean and free of debris before installing the new hose. Do not overtighten the hose clamps, as this can damage the hose material.

Service Note

Inspect the turbocharger, aftercooler, and charge air cooler for leaks or damage when replacing the after cooler hose.
