Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A compromised cylinder head can initially manifest as a noticeable decrease in engine power or a rough idle. If left unaddressed, coolant may begin to leak into the combustion chambers, causing white exhaust smoke and overheating. Continued operation risks severe internal engine damage due to coolant contamination and thermal stress.

Installation Tip

Ensure the engine block deck is perfectly clean and flat before installing the new head; even minor debris can cause gasket failure. Do not overtighten head bolts, as this can warp the head or damage the threads.

Service Note

Always replace the head gasket and inspect the cylinder head bolts for stretching or damage when installing a new cylinder head.
