Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing coil may initially cause intermittent engine misfires or a slight hesitation during acceleration. As the coil degrades, these symptoms will become more frequent, leading to rough idling and a noticeable loss of engine power. Continued operation with a faulty coil can result in unburnt fuel entering the exhaust, potentially damaging the catalytic converter.

Installation Tip

Ensure the ignition system is completely de-energized and disconnect the battery before attempting replacement. Avoid overtightening the coil mounting bolts, which can crack the housing.

Service Note

Inspect spark plugs and wiring for signs of wear or damage when replacing the ignition coil.
